Executive Chef, TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville

David joined Century Hospitality in June 2023. In his role as the Executive Chef at TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville, he is head of all food related operations for the hotel and its events.

Dave who is a International Culinary Academy, graduate, has over 23 years in the industry. He started at restaurants in Oakmont, PA, Chelsey‘s Grill and Hoffstots cafe Monaco and moved on to Dallas, TX where he spent 7 years working under Chef Steven Piles (the godfather of southwest cuisine.) Chef Dave was also one of the opening chefs for Hotel Zaza.

Chef Dave returned to Pittsburgh and has worked at several downtown establishments including Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse. He also acted as the Executive  Banquet Chef at The Hilton Garden Inn at Southpoint.
